Fun Day!

Saturday, January 17th, R, Hiney & I headed out for an unstructured Day of Fun! It was SOOOOO cold, probably the coldest day so far!
We had no idea what to do for fun, too cold to be outside, but ended up at Falls Park anyway! We walked across the Liberty Bridge, then headed back across the road for R's first Starbucks. She had a yummy cup of cocoa. Next, we headed to the Hot Dog King for lunch. R devoured a corndog & the nice man behind the counter offered her a Strawberry Shortcake Icecream. She devoured that, too! On the way back to the car, we did a little bit of window shopping. Actually, we walked into and right out of one of the boutiques....$300 for a shirt?? I think NOT!
Does it stop there? Nope, R was ready to keep going. We decided to go to the mall (with the other 80 kids) where it would be a little warmer. The kids (and germs-ugh!) were crawling all over each other so we didn't stay very long. On the way home, we talked about going snow skiing. R thought that was funny & said that we couldn't go snow skiing. When asked what was so funny about it and why we couldn't ski, mommy was quickly corrected and told that we couldn't go skiing because it wasn't snowing. Smart kid....she had a point! Our day ended with a nice long nap! Later, mommy & daddy actually got to got out on a date....woo~hoo! The end.
